Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai obtained his degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He earned an M.S. in the United States after relocating to the United States. from Stanford University in materials science as well as engineering. He further earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was awarded the Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a materials engineer. After a brief time with the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he directed the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's client software products which included Google Chrome as well as ChromeOS, as well as being in charge of Google Drive. In addition he was later able to supervise the development of other applications like Gmail and Google Maps. In 2010 Pichai also declared the open-sourcing of the new codec for video VP8 by Google and announced the new video format, WebM. 2012 saw the debut of Chromebook. Pichai was the director of the development of Android in 2012, also added Android to his list of Google products.
