Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) who is professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was formerly an actress and model. She portrayed Carmen on The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) as well as Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). Also, she played the character of Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as a well as in Alias in a supporting role. In the year 2018, she appeared in the show Reverie. She played a recurring part in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] as well as seven episodes of The Rookie as Jessica Russo as her lover. Shahi met Robert Altman when she was an extra in the show Dr. T and the Women of Texas. Altman urged Shahi to move to Hollywood and she was offered roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek as well as Reba as well as Supernatural. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales' supporting character on The L Word. She became a part of it during its second season. Shahi's two-year contract was ended following the fourth season. The character was later eliminated from the show.
