Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th 1997) is an American performer and actress. She began her professional career as an teen and is most well known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and auto salesman. She has been blessed with three brothers. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer and would sneak out of the family home to perform. Kari Wuhrer is an American model, performer and actress. She started her acting career at the Wooster School when she was 13 years old. Her birthplace was in Brookfield Connecticut on 28 April She was raised in the town. She was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on the 28th of April, 1967. Kari's children are three. As a teen, Kari would perform in clubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster school when she was 13 and then went into drama school at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari began performing as a teenager, and her first TV break coming from 1987's MTV Remote Control.
