Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Elson's career began as a young actor and model. She is best known for her role as Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea auditioned for, and won the role of Lynn Tanner of the ALF hit series (1986). After many years of working on shows that were a hit her departure from the business to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson, Andrea Elson who was Lynn Tanner the teenaged child of Kate and Willie was a part of ALF for a period of time that was very difficult for Andrea Elson. In a 2000 retrospective in People Elson said developing as a young woman in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was a challenge. The green-eyed New York City native grew by traveling because of the advertising job her father held. Before turning 10 the actress had been living in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent. The part for which she had auditioned was selected. Fusco said that ALF was a tycoon aged 285 and could be a drinker. NBC cautioned Fusco to prevent ALF from drinking in front of kids because it's an unsuitable model. Fusco still believed ALF to be an adult, and was able to handle drink. He was diagnosed in 1995 with lymphoma. It was treated successfully, and the cancer remained in remission up until 2019. The illness took his life on 26 June 2019 when he was 75 years old at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
